Whiskey Tanker Overturns

advertisement

We're told the tanker was filled with 7,000 gallons of Canadian whiskey and was on it's way to the Jim Beam distillery in Frankfort.

I certainly hope no one was hurt. I wonder if they need volunteers to help with the cleanup?? - H2

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I remember a Tecate beer semi overturning in Mexico. They had it cleaned up in about an hour. It just requires manpower.

...and possibly straws. When I was a kid, a friend of my father rolled a semi carrying Oreo cookies. They disappeared pretty quick, would have been faster if a milk truck had also wrecked in the area.

NOOOOOO not the whiskey it was only a year old it died so young what a tragedy :'(( ok that's it I'm calling for stiffer regulations on the safe guarding of poor innocent whiskey it should be shipped in lowered trucks (to reduce rollover risk) in a heavy duty cask like they use for nuclear waste (to prevent spills and damage) and only be on the road late at night and under heavy guard ( to reduce accidents and theft) this problem has gone one long enough thank you and good day

Don't say such dreadful things! I love my livet. I glorify my glen. I would cry a tanker full of hung-over, crusty tears.

I guess I should have include this tidbit from the article.

Dispatchers said it happened on US 460 near the Craig Lane intersection of Scott County.

If you're wondering why that would be important, just fixate on "Craig" Lane. Maybe Elijah Craig Lane would have more meaning, given the exact location.
