UC Berkeley students make world-record California sushi roll

The world's longest California roll was made on the UC Berkeley campus Sunday, according to Consul-General of Japan Yasumasa Nagamine. Organizers lined up dozens of 6-foot tables that were manned by volunteer students and campus employees and created 330 feet of California roll, complete with avocado, cucumber and imitation-crab meat.

At the end of the roll, an additional 15 feet of vegetarian California roll substituted tofu for the meat.

The previous record of 300 feet was set in Hawaii in 2001, UC Berkeley spokeswoman Kathleen Maclay said.

I always heard that Berkeley students could roll some good stuff. - H2

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Just need some wasabi, soy sauce and Asahi dry and it's ready to go.

It is a lager beer. Not sure what all that means, but Japanese beer has a much better taste, imo. AND the hangovers seems easier to deal with.

BTW... your exposure to wasabi may not have been real wasabi. There is real wasabi , "diluted" wasabi and then there is the horseradish impostor as well as other imitators. That link provides a good rundown, but then turns around and provides a link to a product that is diluted, so to speak. Most people that do not like wasabi have had experience with the horseradish imitator. However, IF you have sinus problems, it is best to avoid wasabi, imo. You may think it is the great sinus cure until they lock back up.
